This hollow aluminum stick weapon comes in three different lengths so you can customize it for your Aikido, Karate, or Taekwando sessions. Generally, many kung fu fighting sticks are craft with inexpensive wood, so that you can grab another one anytime you break or splinter your staff during a spar, or when the elements eventually catch up and warp the wood into an unusable shape. Traditional bōjutsu training can be made easier with a lightweight and precision made metal staff that will be safer to travel with and keep its shape over time. The strength of metal does not mean that it is clunky or heavy, as you will see with these durable yet hollow kata staffs.
With a diameter of 1-inch and machined diamond grips along the center and ends, this fighting bō is comfortable to hold on to, spin, and spar with, since you don't have to worry about the destruction of wood while making your hits. The smooth shaft not covered in the diamond pattern grip is free of debris and burrs, and can be cleaned and polished quickly.
