New and Improved Converta-Chucks

Our efforts have innovation have paid off and it's time to reveal a new and improved version of one of our original metal weapons
The Machined Aluminum Baton Nunchaku are nunchucks that you can turn into a 23" escrima stick. Made from thick-walled hollow aluminum and machined to give you a firm grip whether you use the baton form or the nunchaku form, our converta-chucks have been an original martial arts weapon that we were proud to design and manufacture ourselves. The aluminum design and specially-constructed screw connector has passed our durability standards, especially in its baton form, but there has been one flaw: the cord.
With typical nunchucks, even our corded speedchucks, it's not a problem if the cord gets frayed or somehow becomes damaged because it's easy to replace an restring your nunchucks. However, this benefit hasn't been the case for the baton nunchaku. Someone could cut the paracord connector, either on accident or through an intense sparring session. Even without a particularly sharp object coming in contact with paracord, rope frays over time with use. We knew there had to be a better way. And there is: steel cable.
Of course, the steel connector is stronger than the rope. We also find that it is a better look and rolls just as easily as the rope version had. The steel connector also retracts a little easier than the cord did.
Kombativ Response: Hi! Yes, our closest thing to what you are describing is the "Army of One" weapon we manufacture here in the United States. We do use other methods to connect the sections of the weapons other than threaded screws, but if we want them to be really sturdy and show the least amount of seams, threading seems to be the most reliable way. Thanks so much!"
