Tactical Nightstick and Other Security Weapons
December 19th, 2024

This week on the Kombativ YouTube channel, we tested out some of the most popular security weapons including the black tactical nightstick. Be sure to watch the video!
The first compliance weapon I reviewed was the Urban Combat Baton. Of all the batons I've reviewed in the past, this one has to be the most heavy duty. It's physically a heavy baton, but you can also tell just how well it is made by the way it expands. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this collapsible baton is that it has a very futuristic looking rubberized grip, which makes it easier to retain your weapon during a confrontation. The steel shafts are clearly made from a very thick and hardened steel that has a gunmetal finish, which makes it more corrosion resistant. Watch the video to see my full review.
The second security weapon I tested was the Black Tactical Nightstick. This isn't the first time I've reviewed this nightstick, and once again, I love so many things about it. One of the things I find most appealing about it is that it has grips on all the areas you would hold a nightstick for the different types of strikes they are able to do. It also has a bulbous end, which ads weight and power when you are striking with it. The other thing I really like about it is that it has pointed spikes on both the handle and one of the ends, which makes it even more effective for striking. Make sure to watch the video to see me test it out.
The third compliance weapon I showed off was the Black Plastic Training Karambit. The thing that is so interesting about this security weapon is that to the naked eye, it looks like a standard training karambit that you would use to practice your karambit techniques. It is excellent for that, but it can also be used as a very effective compliance weapon. One of the reasons it's so good for compliance is that it has an oversized ring on the pommel, which allows you to dig into various bones and pressure points when necessary. It also has a round ball on the tip of the blade, which can be used like a kubaton for striking various pressure points. If you'd like to learn more about how to use it as a security weapon, be sure to watch the video.
The last weapon I tested was the Combat Stun Baton. We sell a large variety of stun guns and stun batons, but this one stands out because it has a very durable shaft made from a thick aircraft aluminum. The textured grip also allows you to be able to retain your stun baton very securely, and it includes rechargeable batteries as well as a charger. Like many other stun guns I review, this one also has an LED flashlight with 3 different light modes. And, as usual, I had to have Amanda test the stun baton on me to see if it was effective, so make sure to watch the video to see how bad it hurt me.
