Defending yourself just got a whole lot easier. The Dark Defender Pocket Karambit has a compact, all black, and extremely sharp talon blade that you can fold up and tuck away for safe keeping. As in, keeping yourself safe, because this knife can take care of itself.
These folding karambits have a hearty blade made of 1065 German surgical steel and coated all over with a black oxide for more rust-resistance. This metal is also used in the inner locking liner that keeps the curved 2.75-inch blade out and manageable while in use, only release it when you push the locking tab to one side. Some spring assisted karambits are, well, not as quick, but this stealthy version has a super-loaded spring that whips the blade out with force! That comes in handy when every second counts.
Controlling this combat knife won't be an issue, as the karambit ring at the base of the handle can take your grip changes in stride. The ring is really two, both being held together with a steel pin, further reducing the weight of this folding knife to about 4.1 ounces. You'll barely notice it when you have it clipped to your side, on your pocket or belt.
Reaching about 7.5-inches when open and folding to just over 5-inches, this defensive karambit is ideal for, well, defending! The quick spring loaded deployment and lightweight aluminum handle has your safety in mind when it is in use. Otherwise, this talon blade can be folded up and put away, ready to play another day.
