This solid steel axe head has to be seen to be believed. The sharpened fine edge reaches 8.5-inches long and has an etched eagle with feathers and charcoal finish on both sides. Crafted with 1075 high carbon steel, this axe is heavy, hefty, and incredibly sharp. The attachment of the blade to the handle is about 1.5-inches wide, due to the huge size of the axe compared to the length of the handle.
