Balisongs, or Batangas knives, are named from their province of origin in the Philippians. The classic butterfly knife is defined as any blade that has two free moving handle pieces that come together around the blade to conceal it, as well as protect the handler from accidental slices. This vented butterfly knife is crafted of high quality 1065 German surgical steel, meaning it is resistant to scratches. The titanium finish is applied electronically to give the normally chrome colored steel an iridescent coating that is unique to each knife. With a sharpened 4.25-inch blade, these knives can be useful throughout the day. While you can continue working on your flip tricks, we recommend starting with an unsharpened training balisong until you get comfortable.
