While many stars are available, this specific throwing shuriken has six pointed arrowheads that give it more surface area to penetrate and stick to a target. After you secure your headband and attach your katana, make sure to take a 6-Point Arrowhead Ninja Star with you, or better yet, take a few!
Classically used for misdirecting the attention of palace guards, or causing enough injury to cause a guard to seek medical attention, throwing stars are incredibly useful in covert operations. The stainless steel is polished to create a shining surface, which may reflect sunlight, but can also direct sun glare into the eyes of the poor guards you keep assaulting. Each point has an arrow shape tip that is sharpened on each side, giving you a total of 12 cutting blades to send sailing in whatever direction you chose. At 1.5 ounces, you can probably get this throwing star to the next palace with enough force in your throw!

The solid disc design in the middle gives your fingers room to grip this steel shuriken without stabbing your palm, but take care.
