This 9.5-inch long skinning knife is designed to last through whatever you need to put it through.
This hunting knife is crafted with a quarter-inch thick piece of 3CR13 stainless steel, designed to deal with extreme environments and rugged conditions. The thick steel reaches from the pointed trailing point tip all the way to the security ring on the pommel, making this fixed blade a full tang monster. The sharpened fine edge reaches about 4.25-inches long and curves back towards the spine, making it perfect for skinning game.
The tang from the base of the blade down to the 1-inch karambit ring has thick ridges, and on the inner tang of the handle as well. This gives your fingers and thumb traction so you can put as much leverage into a cut as you need. It is nice to have a hunting knife with your safety in mind, as the extreme jimping and safety ring at the base are both designed to give you control over the cutting edge while you work.
The 8 ounces of this knife is deceptively light for how hefty the steel is, and how thick the handle is crafted to be. Made of a beautiful rosewood, this handle is about an inch wide, giving any hand a decisive grip to wield the trailing point field blade.
