When you are taking your gear and your body out into the wild, there's nothing better to have on hand than a set of heavy socks and the Combat Drop Point Knife. This compact knife is made of an extremely thick tang of steel, with a blade shape that can adapt to any task you may come across.

These robust fixed blade knives are great for any field operation or just having available in the shop. The classic drop point blade shape means that you'll have a pointed tip and a 4-inch sharpened edge behind it to get through whatever material you may need to slice, split, cut, or scrap. This combat version is made of a thick piece of 3Cr13 stainless steel that reaches from the top to the bottom of the handle.

The spine of the blade has ridged jimping as a place to put your fingers during more leveraged cuts. The back of the blade has a bit of a false edge, or swedge, but because of the thickness of the steel, it is mostly an aesthetic part of the design. The handle is cast from a solid black polymer known as ABS, and is extremely sturdy against the tang. The textured design along the handle looks like the shapes you find on a topographical map.

This full tang 6.2-ounce knife comes with a few ways to transport or carry it. The first is the black ABS plastic sheath that has a large clip and the ability to unscrew and swivel the position of the sheath in any orientation. So you can have it horizontal, upside-down, or right-side up, or change it depending on the task. The bottom of the handle has a hole reaching through both the thick steel and the handle scores, giving you the option to add life-saving paracord through the end to carry and secure.

If there was a knife Hall of Fame for classic blades, this fixed drop point knife would be in it! Take home one for yourself to have on hand for when you need a 9-inch cutting buddy out in the field!
