This full tang skinner knife is crafted with 3CR13 stainless steel and left with the polished silver shine. This fixed blade has a wide backwards curve, making it similar to a trailing point blade shape. The edge is razor sharp, so sharp that it should be kept in the woven nylon sheath until you need it. This prevents accidently meeting the 3 1/8-inch blade when you aren't expecting it.
The thick pakkawood handle makes controlling this knife a breeze. The stout size of the handle forces your thumb to rest on the curved groove on the spine that is designed for that very purpose: giving you complete control. The trailing point blade shape will move with ease, whether you are slicing or poking around with the pointed tip. Reaching about 7-inches total, this field knife is small enough to keep around your belt without taking up too much space, or preventing you from carrying your normal bowie blade at the same time.
