Modern Combat Khopesh and Other Deadly Weapons!
September 20th, 2024

This week on the Kombativ YouTube Channel, I reviewed the Modern Combat Khopesh and reviewed some of the other weapons from the Kombativ.com website. Make sure to watch the video to see what I think.
The first weapon I tested was the Nightmare Tactical Karambit. One of the things I like most about this knife is that it can be used as a neck knife or worn on your belt. It features a heavy-duty breakaway chain, which has the benefit of being able to break off if someone tries to strangle you with it. The blade itself is made from an 8CR13MOV steel, which is a fairly hard steel known for being corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. Be sure to watch the video to see me test it out in various grips.
The second weapon I reviewed was the Steel Fist Gloves. Also known as SAP Gloves, they are meant to be a disguised weapon that can be used to incapacitate your attacker. These specific gloves have steel shot sewn into the knuckles of the glove, which helps to protect your hand and add additional striking power. You're not going to want to miss my review, so make sure to watch the video below.
The next weapon I tested was the Scorpion Hunter Knuckles. If you've watched my videos in the past, you know that I typically don't like fantasy style weapons. These knuckle dusters are a good example of that. But, I didn't want to judge a book by it's cover, so I chose to test these out to see how they would hold up. The biggest problem I noticed right off the bat was that the palm grip was not sized very well for striking. Despite these issues, I tested them out, so please watch the video to see what you think.
The last weapon I tested was the Modern Combat Khopesh. I was very excited to review this weapon because it is a modern day re-envisioning of one of my favorite historic weapons. Combining some of the best aspects of a battle axe and sword, the Khopesh is a very intimidating weapon. Watch the video to see my full review.
