The metal tournament bo gives you power without extra weight. The thick-walled hollow aluminum construction if this metal staff means that it won't weigh you down while still being strong. The thin diameter means that there will be less air resistance, making for faster swings.
The light weight and thin diameter (just three quarters of an inch, as the name suggests) of the competition bo staff keeps you in control, as does the diamond pattern machined on the grips and at each end. The extra surface tension from this etched diamond pattern will let you exert yourself in the heat of the moment without your grip slipping at the wrong time.
