Why have one beautifully machined weapon when you can have three skillfully handcrafted weapons in one? Our metal bo staffs and escrima sticks stand alone just fine, but we always strive to be and do better. The Machined Aluminum Escrima Staff is a product of that commitment.

Upon receiving your convertible martial arts weapon, you'll notice the included carrying case. Most 3 piece metal staffs don't fit neatly into an escrima sleeve, but this one, when deconstructed, takes up no more room than a few escrima sticks. This convenient weapons case protects your escrima staff from damage while being stored or carried to and from practice.

Thankfully, this break-apart bo staff is constructed from high-strength aluminum, so damage that affects traditional staves and escrima isn't a problem. Wooden staffs and kali sticks are susceptible to warping, breaking, and issues caused by humidity and temperature. Aluminum is resistant to rust, durable, and lightweight. Each 1-inch diameter escrima stick weighs approximately 1 pound, which is the average weight of our other aluminum fighting sticks. The 5-foot staff is approximately 2 1/4 pounds, with the 6-foot staff weighing 2 5/8 pounds; Like the escrima, the weight of each staff is around that of our other aluminum staves. What's great about our aluminum weapons is that they're not much heavier than hardwood or rattan wood sticks, but they're much more resistant to wear and tear; You get the maneuverability of rattan and natural wood, with the durability and strength of metal alloy.

What sets the escrima staff apart is the attention to detail and the care taken to ensure that it is easy to put together and take apart without sacrificing stability. The expertly machined grips on both the escrima and bo staff ensure a secure hold while training and performing. Hand-threaded 8-inch and 20-inch center pieces screw into the two escrima sticks seamlessly to form a solid bo staff; They are easily unscrewed, leaving two sturdy arnis sticks. The separated three or four pieces becomes a compact package; Now you can carry a pair of escrima and a bo staff (or two) wherever you want without breaking a sweat!

"Fantastically made! This was the first item I purchased from Kombativ and couldn't be more impressed with the care and craftsmanship of this product. Being a three piece staff, I initially wondered how much I'd be able to notice the individual parts when using (would the escrima sticks loosen, etc.) but that concern dissolved the first time I put this bad boy together. Holds together really well! One slight observation which may or may not help someone... I bought my staff about 9 months ago and got both centerpieces for the 5' & 6' staff. While everything fits in the canvas bag it comes with, I would perhaps recommend using an alternate case to store/transport. I noticed over time that the diamond grips can nick one another. It's caused some of the grips to be not quite as smooth when I first got it. Still usable. But just enough that you notice it when you catch your grip a certain way."
