This set of lightweight nunchucks is made from two 12" pieces of aluminum a red anodized finish (no, that's not paint). The nunchucks barely weigh 14 ounces because they're hollow (the endcaps give the handles the appearance of being solid) and the walls are relatively thin (just 1/16" thick). We would make them lighter, but we wanted these nunchucks to swing smooth, so we connect the handles with a high-quality 5.5" steel chain.
