The bright neon handle is soft and rubberized with textured ridges, giving you complete control over the sharpened steel blade.
Sawing also takes a toll on your wrists, fingers, and palms, especially when you're working through some thick material. The 5 inches of sawback on the spine of the 3CR13 stainless steel blade are sharp, though not as jagged as a proper saw blade. The black anodization provides a protective coating to the steel and gives a nice contrast to the highlighter blue handle. A row of vented holes prevents suction when cutting, and helps reduce the weight of this survival knife to just 10 ounces.
The curved clip point at the top of almost 10-inches of sharpened blade give you a tip that will penetrate and get the cut started. The steel is full tang and reaches down into the ABS plastic handle that is then covered with a blue rubber-dipped coating to give an extremely comfortable grip. The groove patterns of the ergonomic design also provide traction to improve your control of the blade while in wet conditions.
