The staff itself is cast from an extremely durable aluminum alloy that is protected by an anodized coating. The slight crimson coloration helps you identify your stick from afar while preventing it from reflecting light into your eyes. Each section unscrews with a clean connection and has textured knurling all over to give you grip in any orientation. Reaching roughly 39 inches long, this 2 pound walking stick will fit most hikers.
The handle unscrews quickly to become a self-defense tool called a yawara. In a combat situation, the tungsten-reinforced pointed spike will deliver pain to any pressure point that it meets. The opposite side contains a compass, and on the inside of each cap is either an emergency whistle and a fire starting flint stick.
