With a dual functioning balance stabilizer and high carbon steel sword, this cane is a one stop shop for your every day carry needs. The Hidden Sword Cane has a simple and well constructed design, mimicking any normal walking cane, but concealing a sharpened blade inside of the shaft.
The walking stick has long been used as a defensive weapon, while honestly aiding the walker while they are not in a combat situation. Taking a cane as a medical device can range from a stubbed toe to inner ear issues that impair balance, so there could be any number of reasons to take along this walking tool. The contoured grip of the crane style hand hold, instead of a traditional curved cane, gives this walking stick much more stability as you can rest more surface area of your palm along the filled nylon fiber handle.
The sword contained inside of the hollow aluminum shaft is forged of 1060 high carbon steel blade that is sharpened along one side of the 25 inches and has a pointed spear tip. The blade is narrow enough to stay concealed inside of the cane, and yet the high quality hardened steel makes sure that it will stand up to anything you place in its way. "So, in my ever so humble opinion, this is a must buy item. I was hesitant to get it because I am about 6'4" tall and most canes are too short. I filed a quick question and the sizing was good to go. The shipping was quick.
I was AMAZED when this got here. The weight on this cane is pretty MASSIVE. You could use it as a weapon without unsheathing the shorter sword. The blade was secure in the body/sheath of the cane, but easy enough to remove it or draw quickly. As "just" a cane, it oozes a well built feel. If I had a "complaint" of any kind, it would be that the blade was not overly sharp, but that is fast and easy to take care of. I need a cane due to a physical issue. This is great for that and the bonus is the hidden blade that no one would suspect that the crippled old man hobbling around has! LOL!
