This heavy-duty trekking pole has sharp knives inside, and survival necessities at your fingertips, so you won't be digging through your pack at a critical moment.
Walking sticks help you put more miles in by helping you navigate steep or rough terrain. Crafted with an aluminum alloy and given a gold/sepia finish, this 39-inch trekking cane is durable enough to keep up with every step you take. The bottom is fitted with a studded spike for securely pushing off of rocks, and the perpendicular handle with machined knurling gives you a non-slip grip. The handle unscrews to be used as a yawara, or a spiked striking weapon with a tungsten reinforced spike. Inside of the handle caps are an emergency whistle and a flint stick, giving you quick access to these life saving items, and a compass displayed on the outside of one cap.
The shaft is also lightweight aluminum that unscrews into different sections with textured grip. Each portion doubles as a handle for one of 3 sharp tools contained inside, with one combo-edge knife, one serrated saw blade, and one dual-pronged fork. These are constructed of steel and razor sharp, reaching about 4.5-inches long for each piece. The pronged fork makes roasting brats or mallows safe and easy, while the sawtooth knife will cut through branches to start the fire.
You'll cover more ground using this survival pole on your next trip, and when you're not using it, the entire stick breaks down and can be stored in the camo-printed nylon bag.
