Heading out to the lake for the day? Make sure to pack your Woodland Survival Neck Knife in with your lines and poles. This smooth-handled neck knife has a gut hook that makes cutting cords or opening fish a breeze, not to mention the convenience of having it around your neck.
This compact survival blade has a 3.25-inch curved fine edge that is razor sharp, a pointed tip for puncturing, and an extremely sharp gut hook on the spine. Named after it's primary use, this hook is in the ideal position to clean fish while still on the dock. It also takes the cake when cutting cords, fishing line, tent strings, or twine, as it catches the cord and severs the connection. This can come in handy during an underwater situation, where even the smallest string can cause major issues.
The black injection-molded plastic handle wraps seamlessly around the full tang of the 3CR13 stainless steel. The tang runs out through the bottom and leaves room for 3 holes, which can be used to secure the knife alone if you don't use the sheath. With some finger grooves and a thumb wedge on the spine to provide leverage, the design of this woodland neck knife has the outdoorsman in mind.
The sheath is worth keeping around, as it snaps together like a puzzle piece with the top section of the handle. This allows you to confidently wear this 6.75-inch long knife around your neck and not worry of it coming loose. Another reason to wear the sheath is the whistle cast into the top, which gives you a high intensity signal or call that will travel far and wide. There is black paracord already strung around the sheath so that you can slip this compact skinning knife on right out of the box.
