While neck knives comes with different blades, not all come with full tang 3CR13 stainless steel down through the handle like this guy does. The metal is given a stonewash finish to protect the steel and to keep it from catching the light or an enemy's attention. The 2-inch blade has a modified clip point tip that almost looks like a tanto, and is as sharp as a razor.
With the entire knife reaching just under 5 inches in length, you can imagine that it doesn't weigh very much. And you're right, because with the sheath, the knife, and the breakaway neck chain, you're only carrying 2.3 ounces. The chain is an essential part of wearing this neck blade, and the breakaway beads allow for an easy release should someone try to choke you with it during a conflict. Wearing a covert weapon means you'll have access to a sharpened blade before anyone has time to reach for their pocket.
The sandy tan G10 handle is textured and is the only part visible when the blade is tucked into the black Kydex sheath.
