The handle is constructed from lightweight anodized aluminum and has a diamond grip, so your hands won't slip when your kata is on display. The telescoping shafts are durable black steel with metal end caps for an added bit of intimidation factor where it counts. The patent pending double extension design means both shafts extend simultaneously with the rotational momentum created by a quick snap of the wrist. The friction-lock feature means you won't have to worry about the staff collapsing unexpectedly in the middle of exercises. When you're finished training, just drive each shaft into a hard surface (like you mean it) to go from a 5 or 6 foot weapon to a mere 24 to 34 inches respectively.
