The fine craftsmanship of this traditional handmade katana is apparent in each of its components, from the pommel of the handle to the sharp tip of the sword. The tsuka, or handle, is 11.5 inches long and spares no detail. The real ray skin wrapping is a clean white color and textured with small, raised bumps that improve grip. The black cloth tsuka-ito, or wrap, is a sharp contrast to the rayskin beneath that gives this samurai sword a distinguished appearance.
